Beautiful exotic Cancun, gateway to the Riviera Maya, lies on the Caribbean coast of Mexico in the state of Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula. The evening performance entitled ‘Xcaret Mexico Espectacular’ showcases music and dance from the ancient Mayan all the way to contemporary Mexican, a magnificent performance not to be missed.
Tours and excursions are widely available in a variety of formats, from the self-drive jeep tour – which still comes with experienced guide and offers the opportunity of cave snorkelling in underground caves; to the profusion of jet-ski or boat tours.
