nCircle, a leading information risk and security performance management solutions, announced the results of the nCircle 2012 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Trend Study. The company surveyed over 547 respondents in the IT security industry including senior management, IT operations, security professionals and risk and audit managers. Highlights from the study include:
- 85% of respondents said their organization enforces their mobile security policy, a 29% increase from 2011
- 71% of respondents said their organization has a mobile security policy, a 9% increase from 2011
- Only 68% of respondents believe their organization adequately enforces their internal IT policies
